HIDDEN PALMS SAVED!!!!
July 4, 2007
CBS to run part of Jericho’s first season beginning July 6; Hidden Palms finale moved up a fortnight.
Now that Jericho has been saved and renewed for seven more episodes, it’s time for the fans to do their part and get others to start watching the postapocalyptic drama. CBS has announced that it will rebroadcast a portion of the show’s first season on Fridays at 9 p.m., beginning with the pilot on July 6.
On July 13th, fans will get a double-dip of the show, with “Return to Jericho”–a recap of the drama’s first 11 episodes–airing at 8 p.m., and episode number 12, “The Day Before,” following at 9 p.m. The episodes will then air consecutively every Friday night throughout the summer. CBS did not mention plans to re-air episodes two through 11 in their entirety.

The CW is guaranteeing fireworks on the finale of Hidden Palms.
While Jericho’s run is being extended, it looks as though Hidden Palms is being cut short. The CW has shuffled its schedule to bring the season finale of the chiseled drama forward a few weeks to July 4 instead of its original date of July 18. In order to accelerate the first season of Hidden Palms, June 20 and June 27 will now see back-to-back new episodes.
Repeat showings of Hidden Palms that were airing on Sunday will now be replaced with reruns of 7th Heaven. The CW did not comment on the fate of the show, but airing a finale on a national holiday does not bode well for the young series.
